Spend the summer lakeside in the White Mountains enjoying the wonderful outdoor activities Maine has to offer. Staff are provided with a unique opportunity to spend a summer living, working and playing in an inclusive and creative environment. For consideration, candidates must have applicable experience in casual fine dining, possess a positive disposition and a knack for consistency. We are happy to consider culinary internships.
Quisisana accommodates up to 150 guests for a week long stay that includes three daily meal services. Breakfast is an a la carte affair with eggs to order as well as staples like french toast, pancakes and waffles. Lunch and dinner on the other hand consist of a week long series of menus that change daily. In addition to guest service, we also provide meals for our seventy staff members. Family meals are used by the kitchen staff to express themselves by sharing meals that reflect their personal experiences.
The kitchen at Quisisana offers a dynamic work environment for skilled chefs to practice their trade as well as offering aspiring chefs an opportunity to acquire new skills. We use a multitude of preparations throught the course of a week utilizing catering techniques that emphasize last minuyte preparation with special attention to the final details.
